Out of Time in Nami Island

November 26, 2015
Day 5

After stuffing our faces, we headed for the 'immigration' booth and bought our tickets-slash-visa for Namiseom. We boarded the boat that brought us to the island - a boat ride that lasted just under 10 minutes.

And..we arrived at Nami Island!!! Yay!

It was quarter before 5. Great. A few hours left to explore the island. So off we went. We saw cute stuff, art installations and awesome stores that sell even more cute stuff! They even have their own bank! Can you believe it? So adorable! Lol.

I had no idea how much of the island we weren't able to see coz, well, it was already too late. Not to mention it was too cold that we found ourselves hovering over every pit of bonfires we passed by, spending precious minutes toasting our hands and feet enough to be able to walk to the next bonfire. Lol. It didn't help that we passed by a cafe and the aroma led our feet to its door welcoming us with warmth and comforting us with their coffee.

When we stepped out of the cafe, it was already dark. What the..where did the sun go? Then we realized it was almost 6:00 PM. Oh well. We continued walking up to where there were two paths lined with trees. It was dark and we were daring each other to walk to the other end. No way, dude.It was too creepy. Lol.

I wasn't sure if there was really someone standing there when I took the photo, but I'm gonna assume that there was.

It was getting late so we headed back to the entrance to wait for the next boat. We weren't able to explore the whole island but I'm sure I will be back.
